Tyler State Park

Just down the road in beautiful Tyler, Texas is the Tyler State Park. Tyler State Park features a cool, 64-acre spring-fed lake, 100-foot tall trees, and historic structures. Play at the lake, wet a hook, wander through the woods, or relax with your binoculars. You will love this peaceful get-away in Northeast Texas! At Tyler State Park, you can boat, fish, swim in the lake, hike, mountain bike, picnic, geocache, camp, bird watch and study nature. Whether you visit for an afternoon or a weekend, you will find plenty to do here. Explore the Pineywoods on more than 13 miles of trails. Do not miss the Whispering Pines Nature Trail, laid out more than 70 years ago by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Take a virtual tour with our Interactive Trails Map. Fish our lake for crappie, perch, catfish or bass. The park has three fishing piers and a boat ramp. We also loan fishing rods, reels and tackle boxes as part of TPWDs Tackle Loaner Program. Remember, you do not need a fishing license to fish from shore in a state park! You can rent a boat here or bring your own. We allow motors, but have a 5 mph speed limit.

Texas Rose Horse Park

Located very close to our cabins, a State of the art horse show and multi-purpose facility in the Lindale, Texas area is a luxury that not many cities possess. As a world class facility, Texas Rose Horse Park hosts a variety of events in equine discipline, Hunter/Jumper, Drill Competition, Dressage, Barrel Racing, Cutting, Rodeo, Cross Country, Competitive Trail Riding, Interscholastic Equestrian Association and more, as well as dog shows, and concerts (95% of these events are free to the public). The Texas Rose Horse Park is conveniently located just off of I-20 and Highway 110 North, and easily accessible from Dallas, Houston, Shreveport, and Oklahoma.

Pool Park

Located in the heart of Lindale, Pool Park is a recreational park complete with a playground, picnic tables, soccer practice fields, restroom facilities, a covered pavilion, and ample parking. Located next door to Kinzie Community Center, Pool Park includes four baseball fields that serve as the home of Lindale Summer Baseball & Softball Association during the spring months.

Picker’s Pavillion @ Blackberry Square

Formerly part of the original Cannery facility, this historical location has been revitalized by the City of Lindale for community activities, as well as public and private events. An ambient 105-year-old building, Picker`s Pavilion offers numerous venue opportunities ranging from weddings to birthday parties to festivals. The possibilities are beautifully endless!? ??

Lindale Veterans Memorial

Lindale Veterans Memorial honors the men and women who have served this great nation in the Armed and Maritime Services. While we honor all veterans, we also pay special tribute to our veterans of the greater Lindale area. ? These brave sons and daughters have answered a call to serve and made the sacrifices necessary so that we all may enjoy our freedom. Some gave all, but all gave some, and their selfless sacrifices deserve a lasting tribute of thanks and gratitude!

Lillie Russell Memorial Library

The Lillie Russell Memorial Library in Lindale, Texas is a privately funded library which is free and open to the public. Our mission is to be a community resource center, committed to supporting the literacy and educational enrichment of Lindale and the surrounding community through diverse programs delivered by an efficient, well-trained staff. We strive to bring our community together to celebrate reading, learning and discovery. It does not matter whether the book is a printed volume or an eBook download. Or whether it is a gripping new novel, compelling travelogue or brightly illustrated childrens book. Or even if it is not a book at all. What is important is that our community has access to resources for learning, and that those resources are available to young and old alike. That is what Lillie Russell Memorial Library is all about.

Faulkner Park Nature Trails & Pond

The 170-acre Faulkner Park is one of the City parks and is located 4 miles north of Lindale. Park facilities include soccer and baseball fields, lighted tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts, a pavilion, and concession stand. Guests also have access to the paved walking path around a scenic 15-acre lake, as well as various nature trails.

Darden Harvest Park

Darden Harvest Park at Blackberry Square is Lindales newest city park. Situated on 23 acres, this beautiful park is located in the heart of Lindales growing Cannery District. Darden Harvest features a Playground and Splash Pad, a paved, one-mile Walking Trail, an 18-hole Disc Golf Course, and a leash-free Dog Park. A covered pavilion, benches, and restroom facilities are also provided for guests. Also, a concert stage is located on the grounds and is used to entertain guests year-round. Accessible routes are provided to all areas of the park so that all children and adults, regardless of their abilities, can connect with one another.
